Love brought me here. I’m an experienced music professional building a family-owned event entertainment company. I’m raising $8,000 to purchase the professional DJ, audio, lighting and photo booth equipment I need to officially launch my wedding and corporate DJ services company. This isn’t just about buying equipment. It’s about creating a business that can help me build a more financially stable future for my family. Every event reminds me, music isn’t just entertainment, it’s connection. For the past decade, one word has quietly guided me, love. Love for my wife. Love for my children. Love for the collective. That love has taken me around the world, from New York to Thailand, Taiwan, Japan, Atlanta and beyond. Now I’m ready to build something that brings all those experiences together. A family-owned wedding and corporate entertainment company. The last three years have been particularly challenging for me financially and professionally. I’ve continued to work, adapt and push forward, but I know that creating an additional source of sustainable income is important for our family’s future and fulfilling my life’s work through music.

What’s Next
I graduated. Now I’m figuring out what comes next. Finishing school was a huge milestone, and I’m proud of making it here. The next part looks a little different than I imagined. I’m applying, interviewing, networking, and looking for the right opportunity to start my career. In the meantime, I’m building a little runway for everything that comes with this transition. If you’re wondering how you can support me, he’res what I’m working towards and a few ways you can show up. Landing my first role I’m looking for opportunities in sports marketing, especially roles in in MLS. Getting career-ready requires me to put best foot forward while I search and applications and interviews don’t exactly pay the bills. A little breathing room helps me focus on finding the right opportunity instead of just the fastest one. In this chapter I’ve listed ways you can step in and show up. Also keep in my mind not every kind of support costs money. Send me some encouragement, check in, introduce me to someone, or remind me that getting started takes time. This chapter isn’t about having everything figured out. It’s about getting started.
