What’s Next

I graduated. Now I’m figuring out what comes next. Finishing school was a huge milestone, and I’m proud of making it here. The next part looks a little different than I imagined. I’m applying, interviewing, networking, and looking for the right opportunity to start my career. In the meantime, I’m building a little runway for everything that comes with this transition. Landing my first role I’m looking for opportunities in sports marketing, especially roles in in MLS. Getting career-ready requires me to put best foot forward while I search and applications and interviews don’t exactly pay the bills. A little breathing room helps me focus on finding the right opportunity instead of just the fastest one. In this chapter I’ve listed ways you can step in and show up. Also keep in my mind not every kind of support costs money. Send me some encouragement, check in, introduce me to someone, or remind me that getting started takes time.
